Tomorrow there will be another BizTalk event. Venue will be Microsoft Italy in Milan. I will be speaking there with other Microsoft Integration MVP’s, Microsoft and people from Microsys (main sponsor). This will be another opportunity to engage the BizTalk community.
Interactions with the BizTalk community are vital to keep us MVP’s focused. We can be viewed as an intermediary between them and the Product Group. Besides that we love to share our knowledge, experience and views on integration. In of my previous engagements I met M.R. Ashwinprabu. This was in London, during the BizTalk Summit London 2013.
Today’s story will be about M.R. Ashwinprabu. He lives with his wife in the UK. They recently moved from beautiful Bath to Reading. In their spare time they talk to their parents back in India, watch movies, long walks and taste different kind of foods.
“I like to know things happening around me, I spend time reading news. I am more interested in political news especially in India and here in UK.“
M.R. Ashwinprabu was born and brought up in India until he was 24 years, and is like many people from India a big fan of Cricket. He follows all major cricket matches around the world. From Durham winning the English County Championship till Chennai Super Kings win over Hyderabad in T20-Champions cricket league.
“There is always a cricket mobile app in my mobile’s home screen to keep me updated.”
Recently M.R. Ashwinprabu stepped into the world of running and completed a couple of 10k running events. He hopes to complete a half-marathon in a year or two. Something me and him have in common, running and BizTalk.
M.R. Ashwinprabu is an independent integration consultant providing solutions based on the Microsoft technology stack to his clients. He is specialized in BizTalk Connected Systems, Windows Azure Service Bus, WCF, Microsoft .net.
“My relationship with BizTalk started in early 2004 for one of my clients, for whom I had to migrate their existing BizTalk server 2000 solution to 2002. And my relation evolved with various version of BizTalk till then to BizTalk 2013. I am happy to see myself mature as an integration specialist along with BizTalk server from its early days to till date.”
“As a consultant have to work with my clients to deliver high quality solutions to their problems. It’s the client’s requirement which defines me. So I have to be an architect to provide best design/architecture to fit their business, a hard core developer, tester and provide operational support and act as an administrator. I think not restricting me to a specific role increases my interest towards BizTalk; I have many to learn in many aspects of BizTalk/integration.”
M.R. Ashwinprabu view on BizTalk Server product:
“BizTalk Sever, a mature proven integration product, with simple architecture under the hood, cost effective, excellent support from Microsoft, with strong community members, backed by Microsoft’s excellent partner echo system made it a clear winner. Sometime I hear BizTalk is getting a bad name. Unfounded of course. Being involved in product comparison for choosing correct solution to my clients, sometime we had chosen a different product. If chosen for correct purpose and to design, develop in correct way, as any product BizTalk is number one for integration. It’s not the product which goes wrong; it’s the people who do wrong!”
Recently M.R. Ashwinprabu spends lots of my time in the MSDN’s BizTalk forums and has been awarded the Microsoft Community Contributor for his work. He has also started a new website and is going to start blogging.
“I am going to treat my blog as my public notebook where I scribble about my experiences with technologies around integration especially in BizTalk and Windows Azure BizTalk Services.”
Final words by M.R. Ashwinprabu :
“And about Steef-Jan’s blog, it is a source of information and inspiration to me. You are one of the most respect community members who believe in paying back to community on what you have learnt. Your blog and works in Tech-Wiki would speak your immense contribution to community. You are a great asset to BizTalk community.”
Thanks M.R. Ashwinprabu for your time and contributions.
Cheers,
Steef-Jan
