Now that I have returned from my holiday in France it is back to start working again. I will start continuing on a BizTalk project this week and I have already started reading books from my pile (or queue). Books that I have read, almost read of started reading last couple of months are:
- SOA Patterns with BizTalk Server 2009 by Richard Seroter. I finished it just before going to France. Excellent book and learned quite lot from it.
- C# 2008 and 2005 Threaded Programming by Gaston Hillar. Just started reading this book (beginners guide), since I am interested in learning more about how to program threads.
- Buy.Ology by Martin Lindstrom. A book I picked up at Borders in Seattle last January, not finished yet.
- Web 2.0: A Strategy Guide by Shuen. Web 2.0 has already have a great impact on our lives and will influence us more in the future.
- Listening to the Future by Daniel Rasmus. Book recommended by colleague of me, which I hopefully am able to read in the near future.
- RESTful.NET by Jon Flanders. REST architecture is not something to ignore, so I want to keep up with this technology/architecture.
- Mashup Patterns by Micheal Ogrinz. A book I stumbled on during browsing on the net. On my to do list.
- Microsoft.NET Architecting Applications for the Enterprise by Esposito and Saltarello. Something I picked up from reading Richard blog post.
- Inside Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 by Microsoft AX team. Recently I was/am involved in customer request integrating AX with BizTalk, so I ordered this book from Amazon. Also on the to do list.
- Baader-Meinhof, Inside Story of The R.A.F. by Stefan Aust. Something I am reading after I saw the movie (Baader-Meinhof Complex). I was born during this period of time, when German ‘terrorists’ had Germany in kind of chokehold. Definitely interesting if you look at current situation with Al-Keida and other terrorist organizations.
There are some other books I have finished from American Thriller writers like Koryta, Lashner and Coben.
